I want to take a moment to share what I have learned about Couponiung at Walgreens...
The basics....
*Walgreens will accept 1 walgreens coupon and one Manufacteur coupon on each item
*Register Rewards which are catalinas that print after a transaction are considered Manufactuer Coupons
* You can NOT have more Manufactuer Coupons then Items, If you do you will need to find a "filler item" (a low cost item), to get you ratio even
*You can NOT use a register reward recieved from an item to buy the same item and get another reward.. But you Can use a similiarly priced items with RR to rotate the RR back and forth
*Walgreens does not limit transaction, but may limit quanities of each item purchased.
Here is what I do each week to start out...
I find coupon Matchups For Free and close to Free Items
This week I used the following scenario to get all my items free, just paying tax..
Basically I paired items in the same price range.. Like the Sheets $3.99 (with a $4 RR) and Lipstick $4.99 minus $1 coupon (with a $4 RR), I first bought a lipstick, then used it's RR to Buy a pack of sheets, the cashier Marked down my RR to $3.99, Then I used the shets rr to buy Lipstick (each Time cashier Marked it down), I did this rotation over and over never paying more then tax... I paired those a.nd then I paired the Prep H and Cortaid and Colgate and Dentex, then I paired the Naproxen and gum Toothbrushes , Then I paired The Crest and the Thermacare, The Chia seed and SamE and Probiotics. So starting with one intial purchase of a lipstick, a Cortaid,a Naproxen, a crest and a chia seed I was able to rotate the RR between all the items and still end up with the same amount in RR. The fillers where covered by the Money I made on lipsticks and Crest, so all I paid out of pocket was tax :)
So you can take an Intial $20 and Get $1,000 worth of items, only paying tax!!
